Timothy Martin
Timothy Martin has been an artist his entire life, beginning his creative journey in fifth grade and continuing ever since. Armed with a Visual Communication degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and graphic design studies at Kent State University, Tim has built a career rooted in both technical skills and lifelong passion.
Tim started in the art field as an advertising staff artist, working his way to Art Director and then journeyman painter for a billboard company. Wanting to pursue his own passions, he started his own company. For more than 30 years, he has worked as a professional muralist and decorative painter, transforming homes, businesses, and public spaces with custom, immersive artwork. His work has taken him across the United States, bringing others' visions to life through large-scale murals, decorative finishes, and fine art paintings. Tim is also a proud member of the International Painters Salon and was inducted in 2017.
Known for his commitment to realism and craftsmanship, Tim creates one-of-a-kind imagery using Old World techniques that never rely on computers or projectors. Every piece is entirely hand drawn, painted by hand, and uniquely crafted.
As his new artwork is unveiled at the new Buffalo Bills stadium, Tim remains firmly committed to the belief that art is ongoing, a lifelong pursuit with no retirement, and that every new piece offers a fresh opportunity to inspire and connect.

The Tailgate, 2026
PPG paint on aluminum panels
The Tailgate mural honors the unbreakable loyalty, camaraderie, and glorious absurdity that make game day in Buffalo less a pastime and more a way of life. The legend of Bills MaïŹa takes center stage in the asphalt parking lot, with its most devoted fans cast as larger-than-life Buffalo caricatures in the throes of pre-game glory. Through vivid energy and playful local lore, this piece captures the heart of a community united by passion, winters, and a shared understanding that folding tables don't stand a chance.
Thank you to family, friends and clients that believed in and supported my journey. I have left my mark on all of Buffalo and this is my legacy piece- forever grateful and honored
