Mission Statement: The Buffalo Bills Foundation supports organizations that are committed to improving the quality of life in our region. This will be achieved through philanthropic investment in our community along with supporting NFL and team charitable initiatives.

Focus: The Buffalo Bills Foundation is focused on addressing childhood food insecurity and supporting healthy eating in the Western New York region.

Need: Pre-pandemic, in FeedMoreWNY's 4-county service area, an estimated 155,420 people, including 54,690 children, did not have adequate access to enough nutritious food to live a healthy life. By the end of 2020, this number is likely to grow by 68,270 people, including 24,820 children. That means approximately 223,690 people may experience food insecurity in 2020 throughout FeedMore WNY's service area, including 79,510 children. (Source: Feeding America)

All donations received through September 19th will be donated to support FeedMore WNY's Backpack program.

About the Backpack Program: Many children in Western New York who rely on free or reduced-price school meals may be left without sufficient food on the weekends or holidays when school is closed. FeedMore WNY's BackPack Program assists those students by providing easily prepared, nutritious food in take-home bags each Friday throughout the school year and over the summer. This program is offered to elementary schools in which at least 50% of students are eligible for free school lunch. FeedMore WNY is continuing to partner with area schools and community organizations to distribute food through the BackPack Program to children in need during the pandemic.
