Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott provided injury updates on several players Friday morning during his weekly appearance on WGR550.
McDermott said that safety Jordan Poyer will miss Week 9 at the Jets with an elbow injury. Poyer was forced out of the second half of last Sunday's game against Green Bay and did not return. He has been unable to practice this week.
Poyer has been battling various injuries throughout the season, missing Week 3 against the Dolphins (foot) and Week 5 against the Steelers (ribs). He was deemed day-to-day by McDermott earlier this week as the team continues to evaluate him.
McDermott also shared that linebackers Matt Milano and Von Miller are day-to-day after being on the injury report this week.
Milano has been dealing with an oblique injury coming out of last week's matchup against Green Bay and has been unable to practice this week. Miller was an add on Thursday's injury report with an ankle injury after also being out Wednesday due to his regularly scheduled Vet Rest day.
McDermott expects both Miller and Milano to be able to practice in some capacity on Friday afternoon.
As for cornerback Tre'Davious White, his status is yet to be determined for Sunday. He was activated off the reserve/PUP list this week and has been practicing with the team.
The Bills' full injury report will be updated later on Friday afternoon once practice concludes.
FRIDAY POST-PRACTICE UPDATE:
Von Miller was listed as a full participant and does not carry an injury designation heading into the Jets game. Matt Milano and Spencer Brown are listed as questionable.
