1. Beasley collaborates with DMC

When it comes to Cole Beasley, you never know what the veteran wide receiver has up his sleeve.

While it's well-documented that the former Cowboy has a serious passion for creating rap music, releasing his debut album "The Autobiography" in May 2018, it's Beasley's latest music venture that's gaining attention.

Teaming up with the talented Darryl "DMC" McDaniels, founder of the iconic hip hop group Run DMC, the two collaborated on a song titled "Adrenaline Junkie."

"I actually recorded a song with DMC from Run DMC about two or three years ago," said Beasley last week when he joined the 'UNINTERUPPTED' podcast. "It's been done for a long time. Getting to do a song with DMC is a legend. I love to do songs with a lot of people."

In an interview with The Buffalo News, DMC explained the meaning of the song, which is awaiting release.

"Adrenaline Junkie is about the adrenaline that you can get at any given time, but when it comes to anxiety, nervousness, questioning yourself, use that adrenaline in a positive way," he said.

As for Beasley, the go-getter is already dreaming up his "wish-list" of artists he'd like to work with in the future.

"I'd love to do one with Post Malone, Eminem, Dr. Dre – would love to work with Dr. Dre," he said. "Kendrick [Lamar] – pretty much anyone from TDE. Actually, Lil Wayne would be a good one too. I would love to do a song with Lil Wayne. He was big for me in high school – you know everyone was on Lil Wayne at one point, you know what I mean? I'd like to think I was on him a little earlier, but I don't know."

2. Micah & Mitch prepare for fatherhood

After a noteworthy offseason spent relaxing at their sunny home in San Diego and taking extravagant trips to enviable destinations around the world, Bills safety Micah Hyde and his wife Amanda are ready to embark on their next adventure. The longtime love birds, who put a ring on it in July 2018, have recently announced that they are expecting a new addition to "team Hyde" this March.

Overjoyed, the picture-perfect couple shared the big news on Instagram on Wednesday, sending their followers into a congratulatory frenzy. As the well-wishes continue to roll in, the Hydes will have their hands full as they navigate the NFL season and prepare for the baby's arrival.

Hyde isn't alone in the soon-to be-fathers club, however. Caitlin Morse, wife of center Mitch Morse, also just spilled the tea that the couple is expecting their very own bundle of joy. Due in February, the Morse family, is ecstatic to become a family of 3.

3. Pilates for Peko

It's been a difficult few months for Bills defensive tackle Kyle Peko and his wife Giuliana, who was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin's lymphoma over the summer. After learning the news, the Bills rallied to offer support for the Peko family. Most recently, the Bills Women's Association gathered for a Pilates session at New Era Field held in honor of Giuliana, who is now cancer free, and her courageous fight against the disease. Led by Josh Allen's longtime girlfriend Brittany Williams, the "Pilates for Peko," class offered the attendees, which included Jamie McDermott, Manjanique Alexander and more, a chance to make a difference for one of their own.

A successful turnout, the funds generated from the class will be donated to the Lymphoma Research Foundation – an organization near and dear to the Peko family's heart.

For Kyle, who was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster, this week will take on extra special meaning.

"Very happy for Kyle [Peko] and his family," said head coach Sean McDermott on Wednesday. "With all they've gone through this offseason, and with his wife's status and then also being able to promote Kyle from the practice squad, gives us great joy so well earned and a true blessing."
