1. The Thomas family is adding a new player to their roster!

Buffalo Bills tight end Logan Thomas and his wife, who are already parents to four boys, are expecting another child this April. Thomas shared photos cleverly announcing the news on twitter stating, "The Thomas's have decided to add a 5th player to their team."

2. Buffalo Bills players surprise community for #RandomActsofKickoff

Kickoff is just a few days away and Bills players are surprising fans in the community with random acts of kindness to show them how grateful they are for their support this year.

This week, Lorenzo Alexander, Charles Clay, Dion Dawkins and Zay Jones surprised a local youth football team with Perry's Ice Cream during their practice. The Bills players had their hands full with quarts of Perry's Sundae at the Ralph ice cream to give to the young players. Despite the colder temperatures, the players [Bills and the youth team] all enjoyed the ice cream break.

Safety Jordan Poyer also got in on the action by paying for the meals of some lucky fans at Duff's Famous Wings on Sheridan Drive in Amherst, New York. He was happy to share his favorite Buffalo food with fellow football fans.

It's not too late for you to get in on the fun! Show the Buffalo Bills how you pay it forward like these rookies and vets and you can win autographed merchandise or tickets. From now until kickoff of the Bills home opener against the Jets, post a picture on Facebook or Twitter of you doing something nice in your community, tag @buffalobills and use the hashtag #RandomActsOfKickoff to be entered to win. !

3.  Ferguson cheers on wing eating competition

While Jordan Poyer served wings at Duff's Famous Wings, Reid Ferguson attended Buffalo Wing Fest. Ferguson shared photos enjoying locally made wings from the festival, and cheered on wing eating competitor Joey Chesnut in the wing eating competition.

4. An unlikely pair

While most recognize Sam Hunt as a country music star, new Bills quarterback Joe Webb recognizes Hunt as a friend and former UAB teammate. When the two played at University of Alabama at Birmingham, Hunt actually played quarterback and Webb played wide receiver breaking NCAA FBS records. The pair remained close friends and Webb continues to support Hunt's new music endeavors.

5. Former Buffalo Bill honored as Keynote speaker for YMCA event in late September

Troy Vincent, NFL head of football operations and former Bills cornerback, will be a guest speaker at the YMCA's annual Tribute to Women Awards on Sept. 26.
