The Buffalo Bills have signed seventh-round pick OT Travis Clayton to his rookie contract, the team announced Thursday. The Bills begin rookie minicamp starting May 10.

Clayton is a 6-foot-7, 301-pound player out of Basingstoke, England that the Bills drafted with the 221st overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Clayton is part of the International Player Pathway Program (IPPP) and has several years of rugby experience in England.

"With football, I love the physical side of things," Clayton said the day he got drafted "Being on the offensive line, being able to take your anger out on people legally, it's great. It's great. I can just use my strength to my abilities."

While Clayton did not participate in the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, he took part in the IPP Pro Day in March where he ran a 4.79 40-yard dash.

Clayton is the second-ever player to be drafted out of the IPPP, joining offensive lineman Jordan Mailata (2018).
