The Buffalo Bills released the following statement on Jan. 7 at 1:50 p.m. on Damar Hamlin:
"Per the physicians at UC Medical Center, Damar is making continued progress in his recovery yet remains in critical condition. He continues to breathe on his own and his neurological function is excellent."
On Friday, Jan. 6, Hamlin was able to breathe fully on his own and spoke with his teammates via a video call.
The Bills will continue to update Hamlin's status via UC Medical Center.
