The Buffalo Bills made a series of roster moves ahead of the first practice of Week 10.

With DE Michael Hoecht going on IR (Achilles) earlier this week, the Bills had an open spot and are signing DT Phidarian Mathis from the practice squad to the active roster.

Mathis is a former second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and signed to the Bills practice squad on Sept. 10. The Bills elevated the 6-4, 217-pound DT twice from the practice squad, including in Week 9 against the Chiefs where he recorded two tackles.

Additionally, the Bills signed DE Kingsley Jonathan and DB Te'Cory Couch to the practice squad.

The Bills also released LB Jimmy Ciarlo from the practice squad.
