Prior to Tennessee, Cushenberry started his career with the Broncos and spent four seasons in Denver. He started/played in 57 games during his time with the Broncos.

The six-year veteran was drafted by Denver in the third-round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at LSU and is from Geismar, La.

WR Trent Sherfield Sr.

He is a familiar face to One Bills Drive, previously playing for Buffalo in 2023. In his first stint as a Bill, Sherfield had 11 catches for 86 yards and one touchdown.

Sherfield spent the 2025 season with the Denver Broncos and on various practice squads. Over 10 games and three starts with the Broncos, he had three receptions for 21 yards. He was waived by Denver on Nov. 15, 2025, and joined the Arizona Cardinals' practice squad four days later. On Jan. 13, the New England Patriots signed Sherfield to their practice squad, released him 11 days later then resigned him again.

Sherfield started his career with the Cardinals in 2018. They signed the wide receiver as an undrafted free agent out of Vanderbilt. In three seasons with Arizona, Sherfield had 28 receptions for 340 yards and one touchdown in 44 games. He also made four starts in his first stint with the Cardinals.

Sherfield's preseason performance earned him a spot on the San Francisco 49ers' 53-man roster ahead of the 2021 season. He caught nine passes for 87 yards and one touchdown that season before signing a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins for the 2022 season. There he had 30 catches for 417 yards and two scores. Sherfield's first touchdown as a Bill was scored against Miami in Week 18.

After his first season in Buffalo, he signed with the Minnesota Vikings where he spent the 2024 season. Sherfield had eight receptions for 83 yards and one touchdown over 17 games and one start.

Sherfield is a Danville, Ill. native.

O/G Austin Corbett

Corbett is another addition to the Bills offensive line.

The Bills previously re-signed center Connor McGovern and offensive lineman Alec Anderson, both who were free agents entering the 2026 league year.

The veteran offensive lineman joins the Bills after four seasons with the Carolina Panthers where he played various roles on the offensive line from right guard to center. Initially on a three-year contract starting in 2022, the Panthers resigned Corbett to a one-year deal for the 2025 season. He made 39 regular season game appearances and 37 starts in Carolina. Corbett also played in the Panthers' NFC Wild Card Round versus the Los Angeles Rams in 2025.

Prior to Carolina, Corbett played for the Rams. He joined Los Angeles midseason in 2019, playing at both right and left guard for the team through the 2021 season. Corbett started in all but one game for Rams, making 40 total starts and 41 game appearances. He also started in all six playoff contests for Los Angeles between 2020 and 2021, including Super Bowl LVI that the Rams won.

The Cleveland Browns drafted Corbett in the second-round, 33rd overall in the 2018 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year deal with the Browns, but was traded to the Rams in Oct. 2019.
