5. Wood to wave the flag

Bills former Pro Bowl center, and undeniable fan favorite Eric Wood, will be back in Orchard Park this weekend as the team's 'Leader of the Charge.' Wood, who played for the Bills for nine seasons, is ecstatic to have an opportunity to come back to support the Bills and reunite with the fans that embraced him during his NFL career.

"I'm excited to get back in the stadium and experience another game day atmosphere," Wood told buffalobills.com. "I'm excited to experience it from another perspective now, maybe tailgate before the game. We're still going to do our normal plan postgame…Just get back into that game day routine one more time and enjoy it.

Fans can look for Wood above the tunnel as he waves Bills boys onto the field. Standing at 6'4", he'll be hard to miss.

4. An awe-inspiring pregame celebration

This week, in celebration of the NFL's Crucial Catch initiative, the Buffalo Bills partnered with Great Lakes Cancer Care and the American Cancer Society to host special events to celebrate survivors and increase awareness for early detection and screening. The celebration will continue on game day with a pregame ceremony that fans are sure to remember. The Bills will welcome 40 cancer survivors to the field, along with their caregivers, where they will receive recognition and support from the crowd. The colorful ceremony will feature the survivors wearing t-shirts that represent the type of cancer they so courageously battled. Bills players will also showcase their support with Crucial Catch-themed gloves and towels.

3. Bills bring the shade

Bills running back LeSean McCoy is still awaiting his first big game of the 2018 season. Over the course of his 10-year NFL career, the six-time Pro Bowler has had some experience with impactful performances against Tennessee. In 2014, McCoy racked up 130 yards on 21 carries for a touchdown against the Titans. On the hunt for the end zone, expect Shady to do what it takes to find it and help his team get the 'W.'

2. Rookies earning their stripes

They may be NFL newcomers, but several members of Buffalo's rookie class certainly aren't playing like it. Bills such as linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, cornerback Taron Johnson, safety Siran Neal and quarterback Josh Allen, are already making names for themselves. Edmunds, who is just 20 years old, is leading the Bills 'D' with 30 tackles and is the only player in the AFC with 30-plus tackles and four-plus passes defensed. Fellow defenders Johnson and Neal recently achieved a franchise milestone, becoming the first pair of rookie defensive backs to record a sack in the same game. Allen has also tallied a few accomplishments of his own during his brief time with the team. The signal caller is only the third rookie in NFL history to throw for a touchdown and run for two-plus scores in a first half.

1. Defend. Our. Dirt

After two straight road games, the Bills will make their return home to New Era Field Week 5. Taking on the 3-1 Tennessee Titans will be a tough task, but the Bills will have support from the best fans in the NFL. A win will advance the team's home record to 7-3 since 2017 when Sean McDermott was named head coach.
