Former Bills LB Lorenzo Alexander joined One Bills Live and discussed his recent involvement in football clinics in Orchard Park and Welland, Ontario. The ACES Foundation president talked about teaching youth football players and helping train some of the prospects for the upcoming NFL Draft.

Tag along with Defensive End Javon Solomon as he takes in the Buffalo Bills annual flag football event in conjunction with UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. The event featured over 65 schools from Section VI (Buffalo Region), and Section V (Rochester/Finger Lakes) and kicked off the second State Championship season for Girls High School Flag Football in New York State history. It also featured guest appearances from Defensive Coordinator Bobby Babich and Izzy Geraci from USA Flag Football.

He discussed the growth of the sport, his program's success so far, and the future of flag football in the area and across the country.

At the Bills vs. Giants Preseason Kids Day Game on August 9th, the Buffalo Bills celebrated the start of the fall football season by inviting over 1,500 youth and high school tackle and flag football teams to Highmark Stadium. To represent these organizations, the Buffalo Bills invited high school girls flag football players and coaches from Section V (CG Finney, Penfield and Webster Schroeder) and Section VI (Orchard Park, Pioneer and Clarence) to hold the pregame introduction banners and participate in a flag football scrimmage at halftime. Also, during pregame, the High School Girls Flag Football Coaches of the Week from both sections were recognized for their contributions to growing the game of flag football in the community. Bills alumni, Jerry Butler, presented a ceremonial football to the inaugural High School Girls Flag Football Coaches of the Year, Mark Layer from Clarence (Section VI) and Ian Insley from Webster Schroeder (Section V).

The Buffalo Bills hosted varsity high school football players and coaches from Section VI for a Media Day at Highmark Stadium. Teams went though a variety of photo activations, media Q&A, and visited the team locker room with lockers representing each high school team.

The Buffalo Bills and Wegmans invited boys and girls from the City of Rochester Summer Recreation programs, Boys and Girls Club of Rochester and local Play 60 Schools to Buffalo Bills Training Camp at St. John Fisher University for an interactive Play 60 Field Day and Bills Training Camp practice.

Buffalo Bills Legend Fred Jackson and team Mascot Billy Buffalo visited the Football Ontario Club Flag Provincial Championships on July 19th at the Fountain Street Soccer Complex in Cambridge, ON. The largest Club Flag Provincial Championship in Ontario history showcased the province's top youth talent and the rapid growth of flag football in Ontario, Canada. At the event, players, coaches and family members received Bills giveaways and the opportunity to take pictures and receive autographs from Fred and Billy!

The Buffalo Bills in partnership with Nike hosted the second annual Nike Girls Flag 7-on-7 Tournament and Skills Challenge on June 29th. 12 teams from the Buffalo and Rochester regions competed in the event which included 7-on-7 game play and football skills challenges including Long Punt, Pro Agility, QB Long Toss, and 40 Yard Dash to determine an overall winner. Fredonia High School Girls Flag Football was this year's winning team!

The Buffalo Bills hosted the fourth annual Tackle Nike 11-On event on June 14 at West Seneca East High School with 11 varsity football programs from Buffalo and Rochester regions in partnership with Nike and the New York State High School Football Coaches Association. The event included 7-on-7 games and a lineman challenge to determine the overall winner. This year's winning team is the Bennett Tigers!

On May 17th, the Buffalo Bills hosted the first ever Modified Girls Flag Football Skills Challenge inside the Bills Training Center. 16 teams from Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse were invited to participate in the event which tested the participants on their football skills, speed, agility, and teamwork. These teams are playing in their first season of Girls Flag Football for their middle schools and received grant funding, equipment and resources from the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation and Buffalo Bills Foundation to help launch their programs this Spring.

To close out the Play 60 Charged Up By Wegmans Program this year the Buffalo Bills invited 6 schools that participated in the program throughout the year to participate in a field day event at Highmark Stadium on May 16th.

The Buffalo Bandits, Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres proudly partnered with the Seneca Gaming Corporation to host Seneca Sports Day at the Allegany Community Center for Seneca Nation youth. At the event, the participants had the opportunity to sharpen their hockey skills with Sabres Alumni, Darryl Shannon and Pat Kaleta, learn the fundamentals of flag football with Bills Linebacker and Buffalo native Joe Andreessen, and develop their lacrosse game with Bandits players, Zack Belter, Clay Scanlan, and Chase Fraser. Rax, Billy Buffalo and Sabretooth appeared throughout the event, which also included airbrush tattoos for the kids, photo opportunities, autographs, giveaways, and lunch.

The Buffalo Bills partnered with the Niagara Youth Flag Football Organization to host a girls flag football clinic for middle school and high school girls at Youngs Sportsplex in Welland, Ontario Canada on April 5^th. Buffalo Bills Alumni Lorenzo Alexander made the trip to Welland to support the girls flag players by coaching the participants at the flag different stations, providing words of encouragement, and taking pictures and signing autographs at the end of the event.

The Buffalo Bills hosted the High School Girls Flag Football Kickoff this weekend for 65+ teams from Western New York to the Finger Lakes Region in partnership with UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine!

In partnership with Niagara Youth Flag Football, the Buffalo Bills hosted a free flag football clinic for kids ages 9 – 14 on January 5^th at Youngs Sportsplex in Welland, Ontario. The clinic featured flag football instructional stations where kids learned the fundamentals of the game from Buffalo Bills Alumni Donald Jones, coaches from the Niagara Youth Flag Football organization and Buffalo Bills Youth Football staff.
